Here I have taken a major piece of a handgun and placed it on its own. My intentions remain unclear, even to me.

Amy St. Claire grew up on military bases all over the east coast before settling down in Berlin to study fine art and art history. Recently back in the United States, she found her passion for photographing mechanical systems and parts. Her essay on motive applications in the art world brought her national attention and helped establish her as a photographer on a mission. Currently she is looking to open a studio in the San Francisco Bay area where she can make more images.
